Couple promotes awareness on drugs
Article from Fiji Sun newspaper
Visiting missionaries from England, Peter Kingston & his wife Susan have spent the last 7 years playing Good Samaritans for Fiji. Over that time, the couple spent 6 months each year in Fiji doing charity work called Pacific Outreach which includes motivational & drug awareness programs.
As part of the hundreds of their programs in Fiji, they have also covered other aspects, especially in the areas of bringing encouragement & moral support to people during difficult times, in orphanages & village schools. ‘There are people that are struggling here & that are below the poverty line—these are the kind of people we want to help.’
Mr Kingston & his wife donated chickens to Prisoners Children and Boys Centre & they would like to appeal to the public for school books & spare clothes to be passed on to needy households. They can be contacted on mobile number 973 6575
