Back in the Bahamas!
posted May 13th
As you may remember, we were in the Bahamas last year from October to December in order to conduct free drug-awareness programs in the schools & colleges around the islands. It was a successful visit with plenty of programs & several newspaper articles about our work. However the trip was cut short by the decease of my mother, (God bless her soul), & so we rushed back to England in mid-December.
A few months later, we’re happy to be back in Nassau, the Bahamian capital where the same hotel that donated a 2-week stay last time, helped again with another 2 weeks of bed & breakfast. Many thanks to Mrs Jennifer Hadland for her invaluable help. Finding accommodation is always one of our biggest challenges so we are very grateful to her for taking care of us so well—a real answer to our prayers! If ever you visit the Bahamas, please make this hotel your first port of call!
After 2 weeks of following up on our friends & contacts, we’ll be taking a small propellor plane to the island of Eleuthera, where accommodation is far from certain! In fact, although we’ll be flying there in 2 days, we at present have no idea where we will spend the first night(s); however we seem to recall that the Lord has taken care of us in many similar situations so don’t have any doubts that He will supply.
Special thanks to Southern Air that revalidated free-of-charge our Eleuthera tickets that we were unable to use at the end of last year.
