Photo round up 1
We’re happy to be back in FIJI & are busy planning various charity projects……we still have a lot of good material from our trip to the Caribbean though so hope you don’t mind that we have a couple of ‘photo shoots’ before we eventually move on to the Pacific!
The above photo is one of many programs that we conducted in ‘summer camps’ around Jamaica, this particular one being in Ocho Rios. Because all the schools were closed for the holidays, this was an ideal open door to reach many students with the drug-prevention message. Here’s a lovely photo of 3 sweet Jamaican girls, taken after a summer school program in Negril:
As we wrote before, nearly all our accommodation was donated during our 3-month stay in the Cayman Islands & Jamaica; however many restaurants also helped by donating lunch or dinner. The one that helped us the most was Margaritaville: they beat the record by donating meals in Georgetown (Grand Cayman), Montegu Bay, Negril & Ocho Rios!
In Jamaica we arrived in peak mango season & so there were mangoes all over the place, on the trees & on the ground: we collected whole bags full & ate as many as we could. In the Cayman islands, they were a bit less accessible though: here’s a photo of Susan in the middle of ‘mango outreach’!
